About us: Queerchata is an international community of wholesome, queer people, who are here to have fun and dance without judgment. We’re degendering dance, and welcome queer people of all skill levels to lead, follow, or switch, in our bachata and salsa classes! About the class: Our classes are designed with queer people, respect, consent, and inclusivity at the heart of everything we do. Class starts with a shines warm-up (footwork), followed by partner dancing. We will be switching partners often, so you’ll get a chance to experience different styles and connections, and meet other dancers.
